To earn and maintain the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years (laboratories must be surveyed every two years). Joint Commission standards address the organization’s level of performance in key functional areas, such as patient rights, patient treatment and infection control. Standards set forth performance expectations for activities that affect the safety and quality of patient care. If an organization does the right things and does them well, there is a strong likelihood that its patients will experience positive outcomes. Seaside Palm Beach cares about what you think about our program and we therefore, want to always keep the lines of communication open.
Through this notice, we want to encourage any individual who has concerns about patient care or safely at our facility to contact Seaside Palm Beach management directly. We are confident that once a concern is addressed with us, we can resolve any issue. Although unlikely, if an individual’s concern cannot be resolved by working with us directly, the individual is encouraged to contact the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The complaint contact number is 800-984-6610.
